Oh, YesTo finish, Yes†
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Saffire Matos have seemingly confirmed that they broke up and called off their engagement.
The ‘Jersey Shore’ star first hinted at it on Wednesday when he posted a cryptic message via his Instagram story.
“A WRONG partner will find you in peace and leave you in pieces,” reads the post, quoted from @advice. “A RIGHT [partner] will find you in pieces and lead you to peace.”
As for Matos, she further hinted at the breakup when she recently struck up a conversation with an Instagram user who commented on her latest IG Reel, “Are you even more with Ronnie.”
A second person replied, “Doubt it… looks like she got her 15 minutes and broke it,” prompting Matos to agree.
“I was engaged for 15 minutes boooo boo I’ve been taking care of someone for three years. Mind your business,” the Staten Island resident responded.
A third critic then argued that “no one knew” who the brunette esthetician was before she and Magro, 36, made their romance public in October 2020. The two became engaged in June 2021.
“I don’t care what people know about me because I wasn’t there to be known for being there to build a family run,” she fired back. “Stop thinking everyone wants fame! I want a future, not publicity.”
Magro and Matos have since unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted their respective accounts from all photos together.
Representatives of the blinker pair have not yet responded to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment.
On Wednesday, The Sun reported that the couple ended their engagement and relationship about three weeks ago.
“They fought like crazy in early June and stopped in mid-month,” a source told the outlet, adding that Matos “moved out of Ronnie’s home in Los Angeles and back to the East Coast in mid-June.”
Magro – who shares a 4-year-old daughter with ex-girlfriend Jen Harley – was arrested in April 2021 after an alleged row over domestic violence. At the time, he was on probation in connection with a 2020 domestic violence charge following an incident involving Harley.
While the details of the alleged altercation remain unclear, Matos appeared to defend him at the time, calling reports of what happened that night “misleading.”
