‘RHONY’ alum Barbara Kavovit again candidate for NYC mayor

Former ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ star Barbara Kavovit is running for mayor for a second time, Vidak For Congress may reveal exclusively.

“Damn, I’m running for mayor again,” Kavovit, 56, told us Wednesday night at a Seeking event at the Baccarat Hotel.

Kavovit, who ran in the mayoral race in January 2021 ahead of the November election, told Vidak For Congress in a statement that the “city is in trouble” and current mayor Eric Adams “has no idea”.

“We have security issues on our streets and within our transportation system, our streets are the homes of our homeless,” she continued.

“Our business is under attack. We must protect our economy and our city’s real estate and construction sectors.

“We are losing police officers at record speed and people are leaving because they don’t want to be here. … We need more money in our police budget, now more than ever.”

Kavovit, who has not previously held public office, is the CEO of Evergreen Construction, a New York City-based company that she founded when she was 21 years old.

“The city doesn’t need another politician, they need someone like me who will use their business skills to make changes to these problems,” she continued.
