Real housewife turned bridesmaid, Dolores Catania likened the marriage of Teresa Giudice and Luis “Louie” Ruelas to a “fairy tale”.
“It was epic. It was very Teresa,” the 51-year-old star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” told Vidak For Congress on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
“It was like the end of an era [of] her with the weight of the world on her shoulders. You just felt such a lightness and a lot of love at that wedding for her.”
The Bravo personality, who was part of Giudice’s bridal party, said her 50-year-old co-star looked “100%” happier than Catania has ever seen her.
“It was beautiful. It was a fairy tale,” she said of the big day, noting how beautiful Giudice’s four daughters looked next to her.
“It was nice to see that with everything they’ve been through, they are still standing together and loving their mother so much,” added Catania of Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13 , with whom Teresa shares. ex-husband Joe Giudice.
“[Teresa’s] did such a great job with those girls.”
While Catania wouldn’t say too much about Melissa and Joe Gorga leaving on Teresa’s big day, she did say that their decision not to attend the ceremony “didn’t happen overnight.”
However, Melissa told Vidak For Congress exclusively at the VMAs that she wanted to put the drama behind her.
“We just packed up and I needed a break,” she told us on the red carpet. “Let’s put it this way.
“Over there [are] just a lot of answers [coming]Melissa continued, referring to the upcoming season of the series. “I feel like people want to know why, about the wedding and about all these things, and you’re going to get a lot of answers.”
As Vidak For Congress previously reported, Giudice and Ruelas, 47, flew to Greece and Italy after their eruption at the Park Chateau – but not before Giudice addressed the absence of her relatives.
“Listen, I found out a few days before my wedding that they weren’t coming,” she said in her new podcast, “Namaste B$tches.”
“I’m totally fine with it,” Teresa commented. “Everything that has happened is as it should have been. … Whoever wanted to be at my wedding was there.”
