Queen Elizabeth II has been placed under medical supervision after doctors expressed concerns about her health.
“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned about Her Majesty’s health and have recommended that they remain under medical supervision,” a royal spokesman told the Daily Mail.
Her immediate family members have been notified and are on their way to see the 96-year-old monarch, the outlet said.
British Prime Minister Liz Truss also shared that Buckingham Palace will be “deep” about the news today.
“The whole country will be deeply concerned this lunchtime at the news of Buckingham Palace,” Truss said, adding: “My thoughts – and the thoughts of people in our UK – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time. .”
