Pregnant Hilary Swank has revealed the due date of her “miracle” twin baby.
The 48-year-old actress shared the date’s special link with her late father, Stephen Michael Swank, as she appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show”.
“They are due on his birthday,” she said in a preview of Friday’s episode, visibly emotional.
“Yes I know. It’s like, [wow].”
Stephen, who died in October 2021, was born on April 16.
Hilary announced her pregnancy on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, confirming she was “far enough” into her second trimester to break the news about her and husband Philip Schneider’s growing family.
“This is something I’ve been looking for for a long time, and my next thing is to become a mother,” she said in the interview. “And not just of one, but of two.”
The ‘Alaska Daily’ star added that she ‘can’t believe it’, later telling Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that she ‘felt great’.
Hilary’s news comes four years after she and Schneider tied the knot in August 2018.
Celebrating their birthday via Instagram the following year, the bride wrote: “It’s been a year already! The best of my life…except the first year…and the second year together. Happy one year wedding anniversary, to the love of my life.”
The Oscar winner was previously married to Chad Lowe from 1997 to 2007, and she spoke to People about her family plans before splitting up with the actor.
“I would definitely want kids one day,” she said in 2006. “That’s definitely something I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl.”
After their divorce the following year, the “Million Dollar Baby” moved on to agent John Campisi and athlete Ruben Torres. She started dating Schneider in 2016.
