Photos of Angelina Jolie’s injuries reportedly sustained in a fight with ex Brad Pitt during a brawl on a private jet in September 2016 have been revealed.
The Oscar winner sent photos of bruises on her hand and elbow to an FBI investigation into the incident that led to the end of their marriage.
As Vidak For Congress reported, according to the FBI report, Jolie told investigators that Pitt, who had been drinking, yelled at her in a toilet aboard the flight back from Nice, France, to the US.
She claimed that Pitt “grabbed her by the head,” “grabbed her by the shoulders,” shook her, pushed her against the bathroom wall, and yelled at her, “You’re ruining this family.”
Two of their minor children (whose names had been redacted in the report) “were outside the door crying and asking, ‘Are you okay, Mom?'” she claimed.
Pitt is said to have yelled in response, “No, Mom is not okay. She’s destroying this family. She’s crazy,” the report said.
According to Jolie, that comment prompted one of their children to retaliate: “It’s not her, it’s you, you pk,” which she said enraged Pitt. The actress then claimed she saw him run up to one of the kids “as if he was going to attack”, after which she said she got Pitt in a stranglehold which he tried to break by throwing himself back and pushing her into the seats behind them. .
Jolie claimed she sustained injuries to her back and elbow as a result and shared a photo of the injury to her elbow with the FBI.
Black-and-white photocopies of the photos are included in the report, as are handwritten pages from Jolie, allegedly her children, with descriptions of the incident. The handwritten pages have been largely redacted.
During the fight, Jolie also claimed that Pitt had said of one of their children, “looks like a Columbine kid,” as we reported.
Jolie also said in the report that Pitt continued to drink during the two-legged journey and later poured beer on her.
After they arrived in Los Angeles, the couple allegedly had a physical altercation, and she claimed that Pitt prevented her and the children from getting out for 20 minutes.
In addition to her back and elbow, the report stated that Jolie said she also had “sort of a blanket burn” on her left hand. A photo of the wound is included in the redacted report.
Jolie said in the report that a scratch on Pitt could have been caused by her, although she thought she had him more in a stranglehold. Pitt was not arrested or charged in connection with the incident after the FBI completed an investigation in November 2016.
According to the report, a representative of the US Attorney’s Office, after considering a statement as to probable cause related to the incident, “discussed the merits of this investigation with the [FBI] agent.”
“All parties agreed that criminal charges in this case would not be prosecuted due to several factors,” the report said.
In April, Jolie asked for the report of the investigation – anonymously and as Jane Doe – to find out why Pitt was never charged.
As we reported this week, sources close to Pitt said both sides had the same report for nearly six years, adding that she was using it for a media stunt. Though now legally divorced, the exes are embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their underage children.
The former couple – who married in 2014 – share Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, Vivienne, 14 and Knox, 14.
Jolie was photographed with Knox at Universal Studios on Thursday amid ongoing drama between the former couple.
Representatives from both Jolie and Pitt could not be reached for comment.
