Perhaps Martha Stewart is the single golden ticket.
Women flocked to “Bachelor” alum Peter Weber at a Mario Badescu event honoring the domestic diva — who sadly had to bail due to a mild COVID diagnosis. However, a spy told us that it felt like Stewart was “playing a matchmaker from afar.”
“It felt like a second chance at love. He arrived early and stayed until the end and several groups of women came to him all night,” a spy told Vidak For Congress.
The party was in The Oak Room at the Plaza and we were told Weber was taking pictures and talking to the ladies – even when they arrived to check in. A source also heard him say, “jokingly that he is a huge fan of Martha Stewart’s cookbooks.”
Stewart has been a ‘loyalist’ of Badescu’s products since the 1970s. The party was meant to “honor her for all she’s done for the brand, in addition to celebrating the upcoming summer season,” according to an invitation.
Badescu even launched a new facial named after Stewart, who said she was “heartbroken” at not being able to attend.
“I’m sorry to report that I tested positive for COVID-19…I’m fine, but I’m following the rules and in isolation,” she said.
Tracy Anderson, George Wayne, Ramy Brook, Kelly Bensimon, Margaret Josephs, Melinda Berry and ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ star Leah McSweeney were some of the guests who did show up to party Stewart and Badescu.
