Ozzy Osbourne may undergo life-changing surgery

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne will undergo surgery on Monday that will “determine the rest of his life”, according to his wife Sharon Osbourne.

Speaking on a British talk show last week, the TV personality said she returned to Los Angeles to be by her husband’s side for nearly 40 years.

“He has major surgery on Monday and I need to be there,” Sharon, 69, said on “The Talk”.

“It’s really going to define the rest of his life.”

She did not give more details about the operation, but the 73-year-old ‘Prince of Darkness’ has been complaining about neck problems for some time.

The Black Sabbath frontman told Classic Rock Magazine in May that he is still suffering from the effects of a bicycle accident in 2003.

“I’m just waiting for another operation on my neck,” he said. “I can’t walk well these days. I have physical therapy every morning. I’m a little better, but not nearly as eager as I’d like to get back on the road.”

It is not clear whether the two were talking about the same operation.

Sharon Osbourne said she hopes to celebrate her 40th wedding anniversary in July, but isn’t sure if she will be able to.

“It depends on everything with Ozzy,” she said.

In April, Sharon burst into tears after revealing that Ozzy had contracted COVID-19 amid a series of serious health conditions.

“I’ve talked to him and he’s fine. I’m very concerned about Ozzy at the moment,” she said in ‘The Talk’.
