‘NCIS’ alum Pauley Perrette almost died of ‘major stroke’ last year

Pauley Perrette revealed she suffered a life-threatening stroke last year.

“It’s 9/2. A year ago I had a huge stoke [sic]”, the ”NCIS” alum, 53, tweeted Friday.

“Before that I lost so many dear family and friends… Yet a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given thus far.”

The actress added that she is “so grateful” and “confident” that she is “QUIET HERE!”

Perrette’s post included a selfie-style video in which she shared how grateful she is that she survived several life-threatening events.

“I’ve been through a lot in the past two years. Things that are harder than having a stroke. But I’m still here. And I am still grateful. And thank you, those of you who are my friends.”

The ‘Bunk’ star has been through several scary situations, including when a homeless man allegedly attacked and threatened to kill her in 2015.

“I almost died last night,” Perrette tweeted at the time.

Merck was charged but deemed incompetent to stand trial. In 2016, a judge ruled that he wanted to be treated in a psychiatric hospital. He was released from the hospital two years later.

“It changed my life forever,” Perrette said in a statement at the time. “I don’t walk outside my house. I think it’s entirely possible that the next word I hear about this man is that he’s going to kill a woman.”
