“Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” agent Matt Altman insisted that he and his wife, Johanna Altman, are doing fine after her arrest for domestic violence.
“We’re all good,” the property manager, 44, told People on Thursday. “We appreciate everyone’s concerns, but nothing to worry about.”
Matt went on to echo the sentiments he shared with Vidak For Congress on Tuesday as we broke the news of Johanna’s August 4 arrest, reiterating that her father’s death was “absolutely devastating to her and our entire family.”
“Anyone who has lost a father understands how you feel like your life has fallen apart, especially from COVID when it’s unexpected,” he told People.
“The grieving process is difficult and doesn’t happen overnight.”
Matt also told us that he and Johanna “have never been more in love and bonded through this tragedy,” although he didn’t specify whether he meant her father’s death or her arrest.
Earlier this month, Johanna, 40, was taken into custody and booked at the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Jail Section in Van Nuys, California.
She was charged with felony intimate partner violence, and her bail was set at $50,000.
A spokesperson for the institution told us that she was released the following day on August 5.
Although Johanna has not yet publicly raised the situation, she seems to have been on the same page as her husband for five years in terms of forming a united front.
“What a beautiful anniversary weekend. 5 years and only getting stronger,” the fellow real estate agent wrote with a photo of the couple, which she posted shortly after her arrest made headlines.
“Ups and downs don’t stop anything. I love you so much @themattaltman.”
As for Matt, he’s flooding his Instagram page with photos of his wife and the three children they share: fraternal twins London and Ashton, 4, and son Hudson, 2.
“I had such a fun anniversary weekend with the family at the place where we married Terranea,” he captioned a short video showing the family of five in a swimming pool, which he also shared on Tuesday.
“Happy childhood today with the little munchkins #twinning,” he wrote alongside a photo of the twins on Wednesday.
“My two favorite girls go to the first ballet class. So damn cute!” Matt included a photo of Johanna wearing London, which he uploaded on Thursday.
Amid the hectic posting, the casually dressed couple was spotted leaving a hardware store in Van Nuys. Matt was seen making a phone call, while Johanna was simply holding her phone in her hand.
Together, Matt and his brother Josh own and operate the high-end real estate company The Altman Brothers Team. Johanna is also in the company, but does not work for the company.
