Meghan McCain has shared her distaste for Elon Musk and Nick Cannon’s pride in fathering several children with different women in a new take on the couple published in The Daily Mail.
“This may be the scariest tag team tweet thread in history,” McCain, 37, wrote of Musk’s Twitter exchange with Cannon Thursday after news that he fathered twins with Shivon Zilis in November 2021, a month before he welcomed a daughter via surrogate with singer Grimes. He and the artist also share a son born in 2020.
“Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is by far the greatest threat facing civilization,” Musk, 51, said. tweeted amid the news. “I hope you have big families and congratulations to those who already have.”
cannon, 41, then fell in, tweeting to the tech boss: “Right there with you, my brother! .”
Just as Musk welcomes his 10th child, Cannon is expecting his eighth with Bre Tiesi.
“Congratulations to your family,” Musk replied in a tweet that has since been deleted. “We need to expand the scope and scale of consciousness in order for civilization to thrive and understand the nature of the universe. Consciousness is strongest in humans, so we need more humans!”
The exchange left McCain wondering, “What the hell is going on here?”
She added: “I don’t care how many times Musk guts culture and wakeism. I don’t care if he buys “supposed” Twitter to save it from the bots and the thought police, or colonizes Mars to save humanity. This is downright weird.”
Cannon is already father to 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; 5-year-old son Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; and 1-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa.
Musk’s twins and two children with Grimes join his five other living children – Griffin, Vivian Jenna, Kai, Saxon and Damian – whom he shares with ex-wife Justine Wilson.
“This ‘impregnate the planet’ mentality is eerie and comes across as the actions of a cult leader, more than an altruistic person who wants to expand his family and save the planet,” McCain claimed. “Elon is the richest man on earth, he can certainly do most of what he wants, when he wants, however he wants, but don’t think for a moment that ordinary Americans have anything to do with this.”
She went on to say that while Musk is able to support children financially, “he lacks an emphasis on the family unit. That means: one baby mom, one marriage, with many children living under one roof. ‘
The Tesla founder seems more concerned with doing his part for the population, recently claiming he will support his workers who choose to face major famines.
“Children are worth it if at all possible. I plan to significantly increase the childcare allowance at my companies,” he tweeted on Friday.
Musk added: “Hopefully other companies will do the same. Also, Musk Foundation plans to donate directly to families. Hopefully the details will be announced next month.”
