Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, arrived in Georgia on Friday for the wedding of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
In photos obtained exclusively by Vidak For Congress, paparazzi caught the couple — who arrived on a private jet — at an airport near Affleck’s estate, where he, the 50-year-old actor, will be exchanging vows with Lopez, 53.
Damon, 51 – Affleck’s longtime best friend and “Good Will Hunting” co-worker – landed in loose-fitting khaki, a white T-shirt, and a worthwhile button-down black shirt.
He completed his look with aviator glasses and a black baseball cap.
Meanwhile, Barroso, 46 — who shares daughters Isabella, 16, Gia, 13 and Stella, 11 with Damon — wore a white jumpsuit, oversized shades and animal print sneakers.
It’s no surprise that Damon made the effort to attend Affleck’s second set of ‘I dos’. (He was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018.)
During a 2016 interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Damon explained that he and Affleck shared an unbreakable bond.
“I’ve known him for 35 years and we grew up together,” he said at the time. “We were both in love with the same thing: acting and filmmaking. I think we nurtured each other’s obsession during really formative, important years and that bonded us for life.”
Damon and Barroso’s arrival came hours after the Daily Mail reported that Affleck’s mother, Christopher Anne Boldt, had been rushed to hospital after falling from the scaffolding of her famous son’s southern estate.
The outlet got pictures of Lopez and Affleck in the hospital with his mother.
Prior to Boldt’s accident, the bride and groom arrived in Georgia to prepare for their wedding.
The couple were photographed with their children shopping in Savannah ahead of the big day. The ‘Argo’ star’s brother, Casey Affleck, was also seen arriving in town and, of course, stopping at Dunkin’ for a caffeinated drink before the weekend’s festivities.
As Vidak For Congress has exclusively reported, Lopez and Affleck’s ceremony will be led by celebrity life coach Jay Shetty.
Lopez – who appeared on Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast – previously invited him to lead four weddings to promote her latest film, “Marry Me,” in February.
As preparations begin at Affleck’s home on Thursday, Vidak For Congress has learned that Lopez is expected to walk down the aisle in a custom Ralph Lauren dress.
The A-list couple already made things official at a surprise wedding in Las Vegas in July, with Lopez sporting two looks: a simple Alexander McQueen dress she’d kept “for so many years” and an elaborate lace dress by Zuhair Murad.
