Lisa Rinna apologizes for ‘raging’ Instagram and blames grief

Lisa Rinna has apologized for her recent Instagram antics, blaming her behavior on grief following the heartbreaking death of her mother, Lois Rinna, last year.

On Monday, the star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” — who lashed out at the cast of “The Real Housewives of Dubai” last week from clashing with co-star Garcelle Beauvais — posted a quote that read: “Grief never ends. … But it changes. It is a passage, not a abode. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith… It is the price of love.”

Lisa captioned the image: “I’ve had a really hard time, I think you saw how hard this has hit me. I’m sorry if I’ve been mad at you, at you – it really has nothing to do with you. “

The former model, 58, went on to explain that she “never thought” she would feel such an intense sadness that manifested itself in “so much more” than “grief and pain”.

“I’m really struggling, I just never thought it would feel like this, but here it is. Losing my mother has hit me very hard,” Rinna continued, thanking those who have shown her “patience,” “love and support” since her loss.

“I know it’s not easy to have warm fuzz in front of me right now, but I’m going to get through this and hopefully I’ll come out stronger and better on the other side,” she concluded.

In November, Lisa announced that her mother had died a week after suffering a stroke. Fans have been able to see how the ‘Housewife’ has dealt with her mother’s death on the current season of the show.

While most of the comments in her post have been supportive and empathetic, Bravo fans across the board called BS.

“Grief is not an excuse to be an a–hole. I say this as someone who lost their father at the age of 10,” argued one person via a Bravo fan account.

Another added: “I’m not sure if grief makes people post ignorant and bigoted; it certainly doesn’t justify a pass, well try Lisa. The timing of this seems calculated, after the way she and the cast treated Garcelle.”

A third critic noted, “Callback”[t] racism ‘sadness’ it is not. How about taking some responsibility and apologizing? Don’t just say ‘I’ll get through it'”, while another commented: “I didn’t realize that sadness makes you micro-aggressive towards your colleagues/friends, learn something new every day.”

Garcelle Beauvais

The drama kicked off after Beauvais — the series’ first and only black “Housewife” — called newbie Diana Jenkins “uneducated” for her “racially insensitive” comment to a black woman on Instagram.

Lisa jumped on the drama by writing on her Instagram story: “We fight on our show when we fight Garcelle, we’re suddenly called a racist. That’s bull-t. I won’t accept that. I’ll express myself when and however I will and I am not afraid of any of you whores.”

She also has a fight with some of the ladies from ‘RHODubai’.

She urged people “so triggered” by “RHOBH” to “watch Dubai” instead.

However, the new Bravo ladies weren’t about to take her jab as “RHODubai” stars Chanel Ayan, Lesa Milan and Caroline Brooks took turns destroying Rinna for her unprovoked attack. Fans further urged her on why she chose to focus on a cast made up mostly of women of color.

Lisa responded simply by encouraging the Dubai ladies to “bring to your show the kind of energy you just brought to me” before removing everything.
