Lenny Kravitz played a private welcome party for Facebook billionaire Sheryl Sandberg’s wedding weekend, Vidak For Congress has learned exclusively.
Sources tell us that the rocker “Are You Gonna Go My Way” played a gig Friday night for Sandberg, her businessman-groom, Tom Bernthal, and their guests at the Mangy Moose in Teton Village, Wyo.
Vidak For Congress previously revealed that outgoing Meta COO Sandberg, 52, and Bernthal, 50, tied the knot in Jackson Hole, where sources said the couple had booked the entire Four Seasons resort.
“They bought out the entire hotel for the wedding and it was on super-lockdown,” a source said, adding that Secret Service agents were at the hotel as the guests were Washington, DC, insiders and tech types.
Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken was spotted at the resort chatting with wedding guests, according to local sources.
The Mangy Moose is known as a skier’s favorite saloon with live music. The Post once wrote of the place in a rundown of the sexiest ski towns: “You can stumble out of the raucous Mangy Moose bar and go to bed at the exclusive Four Seasons Hotel.” The venue has also been named by Vogue.
Spies also told Vidak For Congress that Bernthal’s famous brother, Jon Bernthal, and family members were playing soccer at the resort on the day of the ceremony. Jon, 45, has starred in ‘The Walking Dead’, ‘King Richard’ and ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, among others. He recently filmed a reboot of the 1980 Richard Gere classic, “American Gigolo.”
Spies also told Vidak For Congress that helicopters were seen flying back and forth to the top of the resort’s mountain over the weekend, presumably transporting supplies for the wedding.
Upcoming acts playing the Mangy Moose include reggae pioneers Black Uhuru, psychedelic country singer Daniel Donato, and a Sublime tribute act.
Sandberg posted an image of the bride and groom on Instagram on Saturday night with the caption “MARRIED.”
Her new husband posted the same image and caption: “After we both suffered a loss, @sherylsandberg and I weren’t sure we would ever find love again. Over the past three years, we’ve merged our lives and our families merged. Our wedding today was a dream come true.”
Sandberg’s two children with her late husband Dave Goldberg and Bernthal’s three children were reportedly members of the bridal party.
Sandberg recently said she will step down as Meta’s COO this fall to focus on “foundational and philanthropic work,” but will remain on the board.
Her summer wedding caused some controversy at the company when it was reported that she was the subject of an internal Meta investigation into using company resources to plan the event.
Sandberg is worth $1.5 billion, according to Forbes.
Representatives from Meta, Kravitz and the Mangy Moose did not immediately comment.
