Kylie Jenner initially chose the name Wolf for her and Travis Scott’s son because she felt “pressured” at the hospital.
“We didn’t really have a name [going in]’, the ‘Kardashians’ star told Kris Jenner on Thursday’s episode of the Hulu show.
“We thought it would come to us when we saw him and it didn’t,” the 25-year-old reality star continued. “Then…we had to sign the birth certificate — or else they’ll register it with no name or Social Security number — so I felt the pressure to pick a name.”
When “Khloé Kardashian suggested Wolf,” Kylie ran with it.
“I liked the WW,” explained the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum, referring to Scott’s last name, Wesbter.
“We brought Wolf Webster in at that point and right after I signed the birth certificate I was like, ‘What did I just do?'”
Although Kylie Kris, 66, said she and Scott have since picked a nickname for the now 7-month-old, the 31-year-old rapper sometimes “changes his mind.”
“He’ll be… like, ‘I really like this name.’ And I’m like, ‘We can’t do this again,'” explained the makeup mogul.
Due to their indecision, the on-again, off-again, off-again couple has yet to legally change their son’s name. Kylie joked that she’s “just waiting for him to call himself.”
While the Hulu personality isn’t ready to share the update publicly, she dropped a hint during a “Late Late Show With James Corden” performance earlier this month.
When the talk show host asked if Kylie chose a different animal name for baby No. 2, she clarified, “No.”
The creator of Kylie Cosmetics and Scott named their daughter Stormi when she arrived in April 2018, and fans speculate that her little brother could be named Snowy.
Rumors started after the September 22 episode when Khloé Kardashian’s 4-year-old daughter, True, met her little brother via FaceTime and immediately named him Snowy.
Kardashian corrected True, prompting one TikTok user to share his suspicion that the little one “associated the baby brother thing with Kylie’s baby since he was just born.”
Another fan tweeted: “Stormi and Snow, or Snowy, feel a brand to Kylie anyway, I can’t think of it.”
