Kristin Cavallari admitted that her Instagram account has been a reliable source for matchmaking lately, but she “won’t settle” for anything less than a blue tick.
“I’ve actually been on quite a few dates,” the 35-year-old reality star and jewelry designer told Amanda Hirsch on Dear Media’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast Tuesday.
“My DMs have essentially been my dating app,” she added, asking Hirsch to ask if she was sorting messages from those who “only verified?”
“Yes, no, unfortunately,” replied the “Laguna Beach” alum with a chuckle. “Sorry, I’m only going for the verified one!”
Cavallari confessed that it’s just “easier” that way, noting, “I can’t filter through all my DMs, but I can see those blue check marks, honey!”
Cavallari explained that her “ideal man” is not a fellow celebrity. Instead, she’s looking for “a businessman nobody knows.”
“I actually went on a date with a businessman in Nashville,” she quickly realized. ‘But we’ll see. I don’t like people very much, and I’m quite picky I guess, but I’m not going to settle. I remain picky.”
After her April 2020 split from former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler — with whom she shares three children — the “Hills” alum said she was quietly “going out with someone” and that the romance lasted “about five, six months.”
After her relationship with the mystery man ended, the former “Very Cavallari” star wasted no time moving on with Jeff Dye – an Instagram verified podcaster she met online.
“And then Jeff, who was unknown, I went out with Jeff for five, six months, right after that other guy,” Cavallari recalled. “And then I didn’t date at all for a while.”
The founder of Uncommon James revealed that she got back into lovemaking this year and that she has been “actively dating” since March.
“I’ve been quite able to keep things on the DL lately, which is nice,” she said, adding that she “was casually dating someone for a few months,” while “keep going on other dates.” .”
Cavallari and Cutler, 39, said “I do” in June 2013 before having sons Camden (9) and Jaxon (8), as well as daughter Saylor (6).
After “10 years together”, they announced their separation with a joint statement on Instagram, explaining that they had simply grown apart.
