Kim Kardashian can’t get enough of Marilyn moments.
The reality star took an infamous red carpet walk at the 2022 Met Gala in Marilyn Monroe’s dress in May, and this week she was at it again.
Kardashian, 41, posted the video to her Instagram account yesterday in which she channeled the iconic Hollywood blonde in a Dolce & Gabbana video ahead of her appearance at the Spring/Summer 2023 show during Milan Fashion Week.
“An aperitif before the show. #CiaoKim,” she captioned the sultry post.
In the black and white video, she wears her platinum hair in a short, teased style à la Monroe and sits in a limousine in a devious black lace slip dress by the Italian designer as photographers try to get a picture.
The “Kardashians” star eats pizza in the clip as flashlights go off, smiling and lots of coy looks at the camera. The clip invites viewers to tune in to the Spring/Summer 2023 runway show in Milan, live Saturday at 8:30 a.m. EST.
Her followers loved the Marilyn vibes, including brother Rob Kardashian, who wrote “Ciaoooo.”
Another Kardashian comment came in the form of sister Khloé, who wrote “All hail” on her sibling’s sexy video and also shared a video on her Stories featuring some white T-shirts with images from the ad and the words “Kim Dolce & Gabbana” below.
“How pretty does Keeks look for this Dolce & Gabbana ad?” she said as the camera passed over a series of shirts with different photos. “Kimberly, you’re killing it. Can’t wait to see you in Milan, boo. My way!,” she added, pointing out that Kardashian could hit the runway, supporting her family from the front row.
Momager Kris Jenner also shared a video of her own Kim t-shirts on her Stories, saying, “Can’t wait for this collection to launch. It’s going to be amazing. Can’t wait for the show, it’s almost here! ”
Kim teased a collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana in another black-and-white ad she posted yesterday, in which the Skims founder steps off a private plane and receives a bouquet of roses while a group of photographers try to snap her photo. The video was captioned, “Ciao Milano, #CiaoKim #DolceGabbana.”
The Marilyn moments didn’t stop there for the fashion entrepreneur, who today wore a textured white bustier dress from Dolce & Gabbana, along with peeptoe mules and an oversized white coat that was worn off the shoulders while out and about in Milan.
As for the show, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the entire Kar-Jenner family makes an appearance; Kourtney Kardashian’s Italian wedding to Travis Barker earlier this year was hosted exclusively by Dolce & Gabbana, with the entire crew wearing archival pieces and new designs from the fashion house all weekend.
As Vidak For Congress Style previously reported, the lavish affair netted the brand more than $25 million in media impact within the first 24 hours of the event.
It remains to be seen how big of a splash Kim will make on Saturday.
