Kim Kardashian breaks the internet (again).
Eight years after her iconic naked Paper magazine cover, the reality star shows her loot again – this time for Interview.
Kardashian, 41, fronts the September 2022 “American Dream” issue in an all-denim outfit by Bottega Veneta, her jeans unzipped and pulled down low enough to show off her famous derrière — and her jockstrap.
“I loved it,” she told Unconventional Underwear Choice Magazine.
“The team was like, ‘No jockstrap.’ And I’m like, “Come on. This is what I do.” I do best when I ignore them and do what I want, so I’m glad we did it.”
Kardashian, who dyed her hair platinum blonde for her Marilyn Monroe moment at the 2022 Met Gala in May, kept the look for her shoot — even bleaching her eyebrows to match.
“I think blondes have more fun,” she told Interview Editor-in-Chief Mel Ottenberg. “I just feel different.”
Elsewhere in her aptly Americana-themed photoshoot, the Skims founder models a red Norma Kamali bodysuit with a black Gucci spike choker, an American flag print thong paired with a black Saint Laurent leather jacket and a classic white. tank top with baggy jeans, both by Bottega Veneta.
During her interview, Kardashian discussed her style of making headlines and stepped out of her comfort zone for now-iconic red carpet looks, like her full-coverage Balenciaga ensemble for the 2021 Met Gala — an outfit partly concocted by her ex Kanye West, and one that Kim’s creator of Skkn initially resisted.
“I trust myself in the sense of, I know what looks good, and I know what makes me really uncomfortable. But every once in a while someone will say, ‘Trust me. This looks good,'” she said.
“Sometimes yes and sometimes no, and you just have to work with it. It’s not that serious. I care a lot about it, but I also can’t let it consume me. Sometimes there are bad angles, bad lighting. You are not in control of everything.”
Cheers to taking a chance – and exposing it all.
