Kid Cudi, who has publicly feuded with Kanye West for the past year, wants the rapper to “be a grown man” and accept Kim Kardashian’s divorce petition.
“If you can’t be a grown man and deal with losing your wife? That’s not my f–king problem. You have to be on your guard, as every man in this life has,” Cudi, 38, told Esquire in a story published Wednesday.
“I’ve lost women too. And I had to admit it. I don’t need that in my life. I do not need it.”
The ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ singer had a falling out with the rapper earlier this year after West, 45, cut Cudi from his ‘Danda 2’ album over his friendship with Pete Davidson.
At the time, the 28-year-old “Saturday Night Live” star was in a relationship with Kardashian, 41.
‘I am not one of your children. I’m not Kim. It doesn’t matter if I’m friends with Piet or not with Piet. None of this had anything to do with me,” Cudi added.
Cudi went on to admit that West’s actions made him “pissed” as dealing with West’s fanbase affected his mental health.
“You know what it feels like to wake up one day, look at your social media and you’re trending because someone is talking crap about you?” he explained.
“And then you have this person’s trolls who message you on Instagram and Twitter? Anything in your comments?”
Cudi continued, “That pissed me off. That he had the power to fk with me that week. That he used his power to fk with me. That pissed me off. You f–king with my sanity now, bro.”
The rapper – whose real name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi – added that he has “zero tolerance for the wrong energies”, telling the outlet that he has no intention of forgiving and forgetting West’s actions anytime soon.
“With all due respect, I’m not Drake, who’s going to have a picture with him next week and be friends again, and their flesh is squashed. I am not,” he said.
“It will take a motherf-king miracle for me and that man to be friends again. I don’t see it happening. He will have to become a monk.”
The rapper emphasized that while he still loves West, he can also “kick the f–k out of my life and be done with your ass.”
Kardashian, 41, filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after seven years of marriage. The estranged couple shares four children: North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
