Kenan Thompson’s estranged wife has moved on from longtime “Saturday Night Live” star – with one of his former co-stars.
Christina Evangeline is dating Chris Redd, TMZ reported Tuesday, claiming there is “no bad blood” between Thompson and Redd over the budding relationship.
Sources close to the new couple told the outlet that Redd, 37, and Evangeline, 33, went official in the past year and there was no cheating or overlap in the relationships. In fact, the “Kenan & Kel” alum, 44, and Evangeline have reportedly been living separate lives since 2019.
Representatives of the stars did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment.
Vidak For Congress confirmed in April that Thompson and the interior designer had split after nearly 11 years of marriage, but were successfully co-parenting their two daughters, Georgia, 8, and Gianna, 4.
A month later, the former ‘All That’ star attended the opening of the Times Square Hard Rock Hotel without a wedding ring.
“He looked like he was having so much fun,” a spy told us at the time. “He started at the beginning of the show before John Legend performed and brought his drink up on stage and kept saying he was just chilling out.”
Weeks after that bash, Thompson filed for divorce from Evangeline in a New York court. The estranged couple agreed to jointly share custody of their girls.
Thompson and Evangeline were married in November 2011 in the Arctic Room of the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
The star of “Good Burger” is the longest-running cast member on “SNL” and will begin its 20th season this weekend. His most famous sketches include ‘What’s Up With That?’, ‘Black Jeopardy!’ and “Family Feud,” in which he impersonates host Steve Harvey.
