Katie Maloney was originally supposed to receive an invitation to Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding, but was ultimately “rejected,” according to the groom.
Davies made the allegation Monday via an Instagram commentary on a report claiming that Maloney was seen “screaming” at estranged husband Tom Schwartz and co-star Raquel Leviss after he allegedly caught them having “heavy lovemaking” during the marriage. from Cancun last weekend.
“Katie wasn’t at the wedding, though,” one Instagram user commented on the post, asking Davies, 31, to reply: “She wasn’t invited and was rocked for a ‘girl trip’ anyway.”
Maloney’s Instagram page seems to confirm at least part of Davies’ claim.
On August 21, she posted a poolside photo with former “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Kristina Kelly, captioned “Vacay Mode 🌞🍹🍍🥑🏝 #happyearlybirthdaykk #girlstrip.”
However, Maloney chimed in – seemingly sarcastically – to Davies’ response to the fan, writing, “I enjoy all these falsehoods .”
It’s unclear whether Maloney, 35, was referring to her reported screams, her allegedly withdrawn invitation, or Davies’ claim that she crashed their Mexican getaway after all.
She also has not publicly commented on last week’s bombshell report alleging that her ex, a groomsman, and Leviss, a bridesmaid, had drunkenly kissed before possibly engaging in “more” promiscuous activity.
Shay, 37, has chosen not to comment on her guests and their rumors. She told People last week that she just wanted to enjoy her special day “with everyone who matters to us.”
It wouldn’t come as a shock if Maloney was no longer in that group, given the way she reacted to Shay claiming her continued separation from Schwartz was straining the group’s dynamics.
Interestingly enough, it was Leviss, 27, who told Vidak For Congress in May that some of her co-stars – namely Shay – felt divided over the split of Maloney and Schwartz.
“I feel like with Tom and Katie, they expect that [people to pick] sides, unfortunately,” she explained. “It has [changed the dynamic], Yes. At least it seems that way – even though I’m friends with both.”
When asked if she got that impression more from Maloney or Schwartz, 39, Leviss clarified: “I personally don’t get that vibe, but Scheana does, so you should ask her.”
At the time, a representative for Shay declined to comment, but Maloney didn’t hold back.
“We literally told them there are no sides to choose,” she fired back on Instagram, adding: “I feel like some people have done that on our own for whatever reason, but Tom and I are still friends, so whatever.”
