New school, familiar look.
Kate Middleton and Prince William have officially moved from London to Windsor, and yesterday the royal couple joined Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, for a “settling-in” afternoon at their new school – with Middleton wearing a new version of an old dress for the occasion.
Dressed in a brown polka-dot dress from Rixo, the Duchess, 40, beamed as she held the hands of her sons, who wore neat navy-blue uniform trousers with white plaid button-down shirts.
If the fit looks familiar, Middleton wore the same “Izzy” dress ($276) in a pink zebra print on this spring’s Caribbean tour, choosing the brown polka-dot version of the style for yesterday’s school visit.
Made from sustainable viscose, the button-up shirt dress has three-quarter sleeves and a dropped waist, and is also available in a white version with black polka dots.
She kept her accessories simple and paired the dress with brown suede heels and Kiki McDonough diamonds and gold hoops ($690) with pearl drops from Annoushka ($480).
The brown outfit was a departure from the usual matching ‘Cambridge blue’ looks the Duchess and company usually sport on family outings, but Prince William, 40, did his part to keep the twinning vibes going.
The proud dad coordinated with his kids in a navy blue blazer and pants with a light blue button placket, holding hands with Princess Charlotte, who looked adorable in her blue collared uniform dress.
George, Charlotte and Louis attended their first official day at the prestigious Lambrook School in Windsor today, following yesterday’s preview event for new students.
While disturbing news about the Queen’s health makes headlines today – with relatives traveling to Balmoral to be at Her Majesty’s bedside – Middleton stayed in Windsor with her children to support them during what is certainly a time of great change for the family will be .
