Julia Fox urges parents to buy cleaning tools for their children instead of toys

Julia Fox couldn’t resist offering some important parenting advice.

The “Uncut Gems” star desperately urged parents not to buy toys for their children and instead overload them with cleaning supplies.

On TikTok Monday, the mother-of-one, who shares her 19-month-old son Valentino with ex-husband Peter Artemiev, said her little boy simply “don’t care about his toys.”

“He’s actually more interested in what I’m doing,” the 32-year-old told her 1.5 million TikTok followers in the video.

“So I recommend everyone buy their child a mini mop and mini broom and teach them those life skills from a very young age so that when they get into the real world they don’t have to outsource everything.”

“And they know how to do things for themselves. I think that’s very important,” she added.

Fox said she thinks “the idea of childhood was invented as a way to get parents to spend a lot of money on things that don’t really teach your child anything.”

In addition, the actress suggested that “the concept of childhood was invented only in the 18th century.”

“Before that, kids were just considered little adults,” she claimed.
