Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finally said “Marry Me” — and she’s got the wedding ring to prove it.
The new Mrs. Affleck, 52, posted a fresh photo to Instagram last night to share the good news of her Las Vegas wedding, which she posted exclusively in her “On the JLo” newsletter yesterday.
Holding her phone in her left hand, the makeup-free star also appeared to be clothes-free as she lay in bed in the photo, sporting a gray manicure and a wedding ring that appears to be made of platinum or white gold on her ring finger.
“Sad! #iykyk Go to OnTheJLo for all the deets,” she posted a nod to Barbara Streisand’s “Funny Girl.”
Singer Pia Toscano was involved in the referral, saying, “Sadie Sadie, married lady.”
As for the newly married lady, her wedding ring was surprisingly simple – especially when compared to her dazzling green diamond engagement style.
Although her 8.5-carat engagement ring has been valued at an incredible $5 to $10 million, according to Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, who spoke to Vidak For Congress Style at the time — the cost of her wedding ring may surprise fans.
Jenny Luker, president of Platinum Guild International USA, even told Vidak For Congress Style that she valued Lopez’s ring at “about $1,000”.
“Jennifer’s wedding band is a classic and timeless style,” Luker said. “It looks like a wide, domed platinum band. Jennifer’s ring is a beautiful symbol of her love and devotion to Ben, because platinum is precious, rare and will last a lifetime.”
While her ring may be quite simple, the star chose two fabulous wedding dresses for her low-key Vegas wedding.
The couple walked down the aisle of The Little White Wedding Chapel 20 years after their original engagement, with Lopez wearing a full-skirt dress with a quilted pattern that she said was “from an old movie.”
She also rocked a side-off-the-shoulder number from Zuhair Murad in other photos from their highly anticipated ceremony.
Perhaps Hoda Kotb said it best, commenting on Lopez’s photo: “Love is patient [heart emojis] and right on time. Congratulations my love.”
