DJI, a well-known manufacturer of drones for both recreational and professional applications, recently introduced a new professional drone called Inspire 3. In comparison to its predecessor, which was introduced in 2016, the new product’s sensors, connectivity options, and design have been enhanced.
Inspire 3 has one of the lightest frames ever and a new camera dubbed the Zenmuse X9-8K Air Gimbal Camera sensor as well as a night vision FPV camera that can record 4K video or live stream video to compatible eyewear or remote control.
Professionals can fly the DJI Inspire 3 for 30 minutes on a charge.
The new drone is also compatible with the new Waypoint Pro options, allowing pilots to fly the drone in precise patterns and routes multiple times and at various times of day. It has a maximum flight time of 28 minutes per charge.
It also incorporates DJI’s new image processing system, CineCore 3.0, 8K CinemaDNG recording at 25fps, and 8K Apple ProRes RAW recording at 75fps. However, CinemaDNG and ProRes RAW support can only be enabled by purchasing a license key for $979.
The new drone uses the DJI DL mount for 18mm F2.8, 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm lenses. Sony E-mount lenses will also be compatible.
DJI Inspire 3 utilizes the company’s real-time kinematic positioning technology, which helps locate and reproduce movements with centimeter accuracy, allowing filmmakers to take multiple images of the same scene that appear nearly identical each time.
The new drone includes a remote control with a 7-inch screen, 1,200 nits of brightness, and a battery that can last up to 3.3 hours.
The DJI Inspire 3 is currently available for pre-order and includes the aircraft, Zenmuse X9-8K Air Gimbal Camera, RC Plus remote controller, RC Plus Strap, 6x TB51 Intelligent Battery, 1TB SSD, charging hub, trolley case, 3x foldable fast release propellers, and a lens transporting case. It costs $16,499 (approximately Rs 13,50,368) and will be available by June’s end.
