Huawei debuts TalkBand B7 with a familiar look and better noise cancellation 2023

Yesterday, Huawei hosted one of its largest product debuts in recent memory, and the TalkBand B7 was among the lesser-noticed new gadgets. It’s the successor to last year’s TalkBand B6 smart band/Bluetooth earpiece 2-in-1, and it features a mostly unchanged design with modest under-the-hood modifications.

The TalkBand B7 features a 1.53-inch AMOLED display with a pixel density of 326 ppi (188 x 460 pixels) and a stainless steel shell. The wearable is equipped with a Kirin A1 processor and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Huawei markets an upgraded algorithm for call noise reduction and two microphones for improved speech pickup. In addition to monitoring your heart rate and blood oxygen levels, the bracelet may also give sports tracking for up to ten activities.

The TalkBand B7 can be charged by a standard USB-C connection, which is far more user-friendly than the customary specialized charging pucks. Two full days of mixed usage is estimated for the battery life, while a 10-minute charge would provide four hours of additional use. The entire unit is certified IP57 for water and dust resistance.

Huawei’s TalkBand B7 is available in Luminous Black and Sky Gray. The wearable is priced at RMB 999 ($145) and is now on sale in China. The availability abroad will be specified at a later date.
