Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen appear to be heading for divorce after 13 years of marriage.
Vidak For Congress exclusively revealed that the two stars have hired their own divorce attorneys — just a month after sources told us they were having an “epic battle” over Brady’s decision to “step down” from the NFL.
Since the explosive spat, the couple’s relationship has gone downhill. The two have lived separately in Florida as Bündchen makes a decision about the future of their marriage – which insiders believe won’t end well.
“I don’t think anything is coming back now,” an insider told us. “They both have a lawyer and look at what a split entails, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
Although the former Victoria’s Secret model has been spotted without her wedding ring, Brady – and fans – remain “hopeful” that they can do something about it.
Here’s a look back at some of the other men Bündchen dated before settling down with the NFL star.
Joao Paulo Diniz
Bündchen dated businessman João Paulo Diniz for a few months in 1999, around the same time she won the VH1 Vogue Model of the Year award.
The supermodel was only 19 years old when she started dating Diniz, who was 17 years her senior. He died on July 31, 2022.
Scott Barnhill
Bündchen dated fellow model Scott Barnhill in 1999, with the pair even shooting together for Vogue.
Although they called it quits after a few months, Barnhill still has nothing but love for the mother of two.
“She’s always known what she wanted. I wish her the best,” he told NY Daily News last month.
Rico Mansur
Brazilian polo player Rico Mansur was so mesmerized by Bündchen when they met in 2002 that he called off his engagement to model Isabella Fiorentino in pursuit of her.
He and Bündchen started dating shortly after, but they broke up after dating for just six months.
Leonardo DiCaprio
Before he married Brady, Bündchen’s longest relationship was with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The supermodel and Academy Award-winning actor dated from 1999 to 2005.
While both sides claim the breakup was amicable, the supermodel says she was struggling with anxiety at the time and had to change her lifestyle.
“I didn’t feel like I could share my panic attacks with anyone,” she told Porter Magazine in 2019.
She went on to cut out all of her unhealthy habits that caused her anxiety, such as smoking, drinking, and overwork — only to realize she also had to get rid of DiCaprio.
“Anyone who crosses our path is a teacher; they come into our lives to show us something about ourselves,” she told People at the time. “And I think he was. What is good vs bad? I honor him for what he was.”
Kelly Slater
Shortly after her split from DiCaprio, Bündchen began dating professional surfer Kelly Slater.
The couple lasted until early 2006 before they decided to go their separate ways.
Josh Hartnett
After her short-lived romance with Slater, the Victoria’s Secret model was spotted with actor Josh Hartnett in New York City.
Hartnett had also just come out of a relationship with Scarlett Johansson at the time.
However, the spark quickly died and they broke up in late 2006.
Tom Brady
Bündchen and Brady went on a blind date in 2006 and according to the supermodel it was love at first sight.
“The moment I saw him he smiled and I thought, ‘That’s the most beautiful, most charismatic smile I’ve ever seen!'” she recalled to Vanity Fair in March 2009, adding that she “knew instantly that he was the one.
The couple got engaged three years later and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony just weeks after the NFL star posed the question.
The power couple shares two children, son Benjamin, daughter Vivian. Bündchen is also a step-parent of Brady’s son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, Jack.
Although Bündchen and Brady seemed to be the perfect couple, their marriage hit a rough patch when the NFL player decided to retire from the “violent” sport.
In 2022, the supermodel expressed her frustrations in an interview with Elle magazine, saying she felt like he wasn’t spending enough time with their kids.
“This is a very violent sport, and I have my kids and I’d like him to be more present,” she said, adding that she’s “definitely had those conversations with him over and over.”
