There’s nothing like a little father-son bond at Bass Pro Shops.
Garrett Hedlund shared a rare photo of him and Emma Roberts’ 1-year-old baby Rhodes on Instagram on Tuesday.
In the adorable photo, Hedlund was seen lifting Rhodes into the air for their little one to get a closer look at a display of stuffed buffalo in the sports shop.
“A very ‘Simba-bolic’ moment ❤️ ‘Meet the BASS PRO SHOP BUFFALO…. Daddies Spirit Animal.😂💪🦬,” he captioned the photo, referring to the scene in “The Lion King” when Mufasa holds up Simba for the animals to see.
Hedlund was dressed in jeans, a light blue T-shirt and a green trucker cap. Meanwhile, Rhodes wore bright green pajamas detailed with black stars.
Both Roberts, 31, and Hedlund, 37, have kept their son out of the public eye and rarely post content featuring their child.
The ‘Holidate’ actress shared a first look at Rhodes in January 2021, just days after she gave birth.
“Thank you 2020 for doing one thing right, Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund,” she captioned a photo while cuddling with her newborn while wearing a cheery orange dress and matching shoes.
Roberts confirmed in August 2020 that she was expecting her first child.
“Me and my two favorite boys,” Roberts wrote when announcing her pregnancy.
The alum of the “Scream Queens” had celebrated her upcoming motherhood in October of that year with a “magic garden” themed baby shower.
She and Hedlund have been linked as a couple since March 2019.
Roberts had been in a relationship with actor Evan Peters for years, until the business ended in March 2019. And the “Tron” star dated Kirsten Dunst for four years, but they broke up in 2016.
