At beautiful Doja Cat.
The rapper poked fun at the infamous moment during Amber Heard’s libel lawsuit against Johnny Depp, where the ‘Aquaman’ actress said her dog had been stung by a bee.
“It’s really sad because she’s a puppy, my dog. And I’ve had her for a week and a half, maybe two weeks. And she liked it, just running around in the grass and stepping on a bee,” Doja, 26, said in a video on her TikTok.
The ‘Say So’ artist decided to rant Heard, telling her fans, ‘So you know what time it is. You’ll know what the hell time it is. you know what time it is!”
She then repeats the phrase, “My dog stepped on a bee,” and narrowed her eyes, mimicking Heard’s testimony against Depp in May.
“My dog stepped on a bee,” Doja said with a shock. “She stepped up to King Bee. My dog stepped on a bee!”
Doja captioned the video, writing, “I, as a dog owner, can finally say it with sincerity…”, referencing Heard’s comments about her dog’s bee sting.
Heard, 36, was swept away by viewers after she cringed strangely as she described her dog stepping on a bee in May.
“At one point we walked out of the trailer, my dog stepped on a bee,” Heard said, quickly closing her eyes and shaking her head. “We went to the vet,” she added, shaking her head and continuing, “and continued on our you know, vacation.”
Heard told the story during the highly televised defamation lawsuit against the star of “Pirates of the Caribbean,” which lasted nearly six weeks.
Depp, 59, sued Heard for $50 million for defamation over a 2018 op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post about surviving domestic violence, saying he [his] name.”
Although the actor was not named in the piece, Depp – who was married to Heard from 2015 to 2017 – alleges that his ex made up allegations of abuse in an attempt to score a massive divorce settlement, which he claims subsequently hurt his career. .
During the trial, Heard – who filed to divorce Depp in May 2016 after less than two years of marriage – repeatedly alleged that Depp had physically abused her and claimed she was threatening her life, although Depp vehemently denied the allegations.
In June, Depp won the case and was awarded $10 million in damages and $5 million in punitive damages. Meanwhile, Heard herself had won a small victory in her counter-charge against Depp, with the jury awarding her $2 million in compensatory damages but $0 in punitive damages.
“The disappointment I feel today is indescribable. I am devastated that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to withstand the disproportionate power, influence and power of my ex-husband,” Heard said in a statement after her loss.
She is currently asking for the verdict to be revoked.
