Ireland Baldwin posted a series of selfies on Instagram on Sunday showing off her new platinum blonde buzzcut.
“Don’t tell me I won’t do something because I will,” the 26-year-old model stated in the caption, adding “buzzed by @hairmettle 💕” and crediting hairstylist Hannah Bonetti for doing it edgy.
Baldwin also shared a snapshot for her IG story, adding the photo to a post about her newly invigorated outlook on life and beauty.
“Do things that scare you. Do things you will never do,” the statement began.
“My hair was destroyed by years of bleaching and modeling and bulling — t since I was 17,” she added of her experiences as a model, a career that started after she signed with IMG in 2013.
“It’s way too late for a reboot/refresh,” Baldwin added.
“I’ve always wanted to do this, but I was always afraid. Now that I don’t care what other people think, I feel more beautiful than ever.”
Needless to say, Baldwin’s friends, fans and family were all impressed by her bold and bubbly switch-up.
Words have apparently escaped Paris Hilton, but who needs them when a simple “😍” can suffice as an expression of a heartfelt response.
“Dreamy,” praised actress Hilary Duff, while Bishop Briggs added, “WONDERFUL.”
Tess Holliday also joined in, writing “Loooooove,” while beauty queen Nadia Mejia gushed, “Insane!!!!😍😍😍.”
Last but not least, Baldwin’s mom, Kim Basinger, didn’t pass up the opportunity to remind everyone that this was still her “baby.”
“Don’t tell her not to do something……. because she will,” she wrote. “I have witnessed that and have been for many years… Simply beautiful👏👏👏👏👏👏🚀🌈❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨🌸.”
