David Beckham reportedly confronted Brooklyn Beckham about the drama involving his wife, Nicola Peltz, and his mother, Victoria Beckham.
“I don’t think David ever lost his temper with Brooklyn or had reason to talk loudly to him, but that has finally happened,” a source told the Daily Mail on Thursday, adding that the athlete had “read the riot law.” to his eldest child, 23.
“He broke up with him and told him, ‘We don’t do this in our family — and you know we don’t do this in our family,'” the insider continued.
They added that David reportedly told Brooklyn, “What happens next is up to you, but we’re done with the drama.”
According to the publication, David, 47, was upset about comments from Peltz, 27, and Brooklyn in a recent interview for the Grazia US cover story in the fall of 2022.
The young couple – who tied the knot on April 9 – spoke about the media attention for Peltz’ relationship with Victoria.
“To be honest, my wife is clearly my number one priority and I never want to see her upset,” Brooklyn told the outlet. “When people say ridiculous things, we just talk about it and just move on. We’re 100 percent behind each other and we just move on together.”
Peltz also clarified her decision to walk down the aisle in Valentino instead of a design by the former Spice Girl, 48.
“We hooked up to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by without me hearing anything. Victoria called my mom and said her studio couldn’t make it. So I spoke to my mother and [my stylist] Leslie [Fremar]and I thought, ‘Well, unfortunately this can’t happen, so what’s next?’” she recalls.

The insider also claimed that Brooklyn’s younger brothers, Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 17, were “also hurt” by the couple’s comments.
Representatives from David, Brooklyn and Peltz did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment.
