What is black and white and permanent everywhere? Brooklyn Beckham’s collection of love tattoos.
While David and Victoria Beckham’s newly married son has featured several tattoos dedicated to his wife Nicola Peltz, 27, he recently admitted that as many as 70 of his 100 tattoos are actually in honor of his bride.
The social media chief — who said he regularly makes Peltz angel hair pasta — made the USA Today admission last week at Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event.
Referring to the word ‘married’ he had written on his hand this month, Beckham, 23, said: ‘I was like, ‘Oh, we’re married, why not?’ It wasn’t something I thought about for months. I got married five months ago, why not?”
He said the ‘Transformers’ actress had ‘tears in her eyes’ when he showed her the tattoo, adding: ‘She always cries when I let her get another tattoo. I always like to surprise her with new ink.”
Among his other surprises are the words “our little bubble” on the top of his hand and his wife’s eyes tattooed on the back of his neck — above a love letter Peltz wrote to her future husband when they were engaged.
“My eternal boy”, the note reads. “Read this when you’re feeling anxious. I want you to know how deeply you are loved. You have the sweetest heart I’ve ever met and I hope I’ll never go a day without your love.”
“I think you’re so incredible,” the long tattoo continues. “Just know that we can get through it together if you breathe slowly and trust. I love you more. Love always, your future wife.”
And speaking of love notes, Mr. Peltz Beckham also had their April wedding vows—which took place at the Peltz family’s estate in Palm Beach—tattooed on his arm.
Other accolades include “Nicola” on the side of his neck, the word “lover” on his index finger, her late grandmother’s name on his wrist, the letter “N” on his ring finger, a Peltz rosary tattoo Mother around his wrist and a poem on his right arm that reads: “My life, my love, my truth, my breath, my reason, my beauty, my precious.”
While the heiress may not have dedicated 70 works of art to her husband, Peltz returned the favor by tattooing “Brooklyn” on her back during the couple’s engagement.
If the couple signing together stays together, these two are definitely in it for the long haul.
