Britney Spears may want to take a break from social media if she wants to see her sons soon.
Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, have not seen their mother in six months and there is no sign of a rapprochement in sight, their father, Kevin Federline, has said, TMZ reported on Saturday.
The boys were especially put off after Spears berated them on Instagram last month for being “hateful” in their behavior towards her in an Instagram post, sources told TMZ.
“While I won’t comment on whether or not there were regular custodial exchanges, it should be remembered that the comments about the boys, such as those published recently, hardly create a pro-detention environment,” Federline’s attorney told me. Mark Vincent Kaplan at the outlet. . “That is something that the parties involved will have to work out in due course.”
Britney posted again about her sons on Thursday in response to an interview Jayden did, claiming that Britney paid him more attention than Preston.
In response, Britney wrote: “Finally at 40 years old without the limitations of what my family has done to me…I tell my son Jayden every day I send you all the love in the world for the rest of my life!! My love for my children knows no bounds.”
She also posted on Friday, suddenly revealing in a disjointed message about her partnership with Elton John that Preston was angry for posting something about him online against his will.
“He didn’t see me again… I posted something of his, but he got really mad, so unfortunately I haven’t been able to post my loving family,” she complained, according to The Sun.
Last month, Kaplan said Britney’s boys aren’t comfortable with her and Kevin posted some videos the boys had shot under Britney’s care, where she disciplined them.
Spears and Federline have been at odds since Federline did an interview with a British tabloid about Britney and the kids this summer.
New clips from that interview will air on ’60 Minutes: Australia’ on Sunday.
