Britney Spears has posted another nude photo on social media, her first since the release of the Elton John duet ‘Hold Me Closer’.
The 40-year-old singer shared the daring snap via Twitter late Friday afternoon. In it, the ‘Stronger’ artist looks into the camera holding her breasts in her hands as she sits on the edge of the tub in front of a window, with only a sheet to cover her lower body.
Earlier in the day, Spears shared a short clip of herself from the bathtub enjoying the success of the new song with John – while imitating his British accent.
“Hello Mr Elton John. We are number one in 40 countries,” she said. “Holy s–t! I’m in the bath now and I’m going to have the best day ever, and I hope you’re doing well!’
She also posted a clip of herself showing off her stuff in a black-lined white coat as the new song scored the scene.
In a new interview with John, the iconic songwriter tells how he had the 2000s teenage queen return to the studio for the first time in six years — and since the end of her conservatory — to record the brand new hit.
“She’s been gone for so long – there’s a lot of fear because she’s been betrayed so many times and she hasn’t really been in the public eye in so long. We held her hand throughout the process and reassured her that everything will be fine,” the Bennie and the Jets artist told The Guardian about their collaboration.
“I’m so excited to be able to do it with her because if it’s a big hit, and I think it is, it’ll give her so much more confidence than she already has and she’ll realize that people really love her to keep. and take care of her and want her to be happy. That’s all anyone in their right mind would want after going through such a traumatic time.”
Spears fans couldn’t help but congratulate the pop superstar on her latest hit and personal progress.
“We are all having the best day ever with you Queen OMG!!! We love you!!! NUMBER ONE EVERYWHERE!!! ITS BRITNEY B!TCH!!! #HoldMeCloser”, tweeted a supporter.
Another posted, “CONGRATULATIONS QUEEN!! the track is AMAZING and it shows. I hope these numbers are enough to give you confidence back so you can beat the music industry again and show you are stronger than ever! #HoldMeCloser.”
