Baby No. 8 is here!
Nick Cannon’s partner, Bre Tiesi, has given birth to their first child together – his eighth – she announced Monday.
“I did it. An all-natural, drug-free home birth. This was the most humbling / groundbreaking but also awakening and completely empowering experience,” she wrote on a carousel of photos of her son’s birth.
“I cannot thank my team enough for delivering my son safely. This experience changed me forever and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful and supportive partner. Dad showed it to us. I couldn’t have done it without you. 💙 I can’t believe he’s here 🤗”
Tiesi also posted an 11-minute video of the birth, warning viewers that the clip is “intense” and “a little graphic.”
In January, news broke that the family of the 41-year-old “Wild ‘N Out” host was growing after photos surfaced of his gender reveal party with Tiesi.
The actor struggled to share the news due to the deaths of him and Alyssa Scott’s son Zen last month, he went on to explain on “The Nick Cannon Show.”
“I’ve known about Bre’s pregnancy for a while before my son Zen died,” said the Drumline star, who is also father to twins Moroccan and Monroe, son Golden, daughter Powerful and twins Zion and Zillion.
“This was always in the back of my mind. When is the right time? How do I share this?” Cannon explained. “Trying to figure out a chronological order or timeline kept me up at night.”
“I absolutely wanted to respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough and kept her announcements and speaking out on social media.”
After the reveal, Tiesi, 31, began documenting her pregnancy journey via Instagram.
“I’ve kept you in my belly of this world for as long as I could,” the broker wrote at her baby-build debut in January. “You are surrounded by so much love. Mom and Dad can’t wait to meet you.”
Sharing steamy maternity photos with Cannon three months later, Tiesi wrote that she hoped her son would grow up to be “everything like his father.”
Cannon became a father in 2011 when he and his then-wife Mariah Carey welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe. The former couple are now co-parents of the teens and have reunited over the years for holiday celebrations.
After their divorce in 2016, Cannon welcomed Golden and Powerful with former election queen Brittany Bell in 2017 and 2020 respectively. Cannon and DJ Abby De La Rosa’s twin boys, Zion and Zillion, arrived in 2021, the same month Scott, 28, took his life. donated to Zen.
The former Nickelodeon star embarked on a celibacy journey after falling pregnant with him and Tiesi’s son, he revealed in February.
“My therapist was one of the [people] who said I should probably be celibate because I shared that news that Bre was pregnant,” the “All That” alum said on his talk show at the time.
“That was why I then embarked on my celibacy journey…I was… [celibate] because I was dealing with [this].”
The “Masked Singer” host called the decision a “big help”, explaining that abstaining from sex allowed him to “handle” the news about his growing family.
