Purely platonic.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her ex Kris are just friends, despite their recent meeting in Los Angeles, where the former couple was seen holding hands.
“Kris and Braunwyn are friends and nothing more!” an insider tells Vidak For Congress exclusively.
“She was Braunwyn’s first lesbian relationship, and they will always have a place in each other’s hearts.”
The paparazzi caught the 44-year-old “Real Housewives of Orange County” and her ex-girlfriend strolling through downtown LA on Wednesday while eating out.
Their reunion also included a private screening and a Q&A event in Cages.
In a video that Vidak For Congress got exclusively from the outing, Windham-Burke — who is still legally married to her husband, Sean Burke — said she wants to get married again one day, but noted that she “must get a divorce first.”
“I still believe in love,” she said. “I still believe in a long and happy life.”
When asked if wedding bells would one day ring for her and Kris (whose last name has not been revealed), the former Bravolebrity shyly replied, “Kris and I have always been friends. Kris and I will love each other forever.”
Kris then intervened: “We just have a great connection.”
The ladies met on a dating app in 2020 and went public with their romance in December — the same month Windham-Burke came out as gay. They broke up the following April.
The exes caught up less than three weeks after Windham-Burke broke up with Victoria Brito, with whom she had been in a relationship for nearly eight months.
Speaking to Vidak For Congress last weekend at Jill Zarin’s lavish lunch in Southampton, the former reality star admitted it was “hard” to give herself back after her “first heartbreak” with the New York City-based model and dancer. .
“We had two different relationships, unbeknownst to me. So I gave 100 percent,” she told us. “I was in love, and what I thought it was, it wasn’t. And that’s hard.”
Windham-Burke admitted she worked with emotions that “most people experience by age 16,” as it’s been less than two years since she started exploring romantic partnerships with women.
“That said, you know, I’m old enough not to be in it,” she explained. “I know you can be sad and still go out and have fun.”
The mother of seven currently splits her time between the Big Apple and Orange County, California, with Burke and their children: Bella, 21, Rowan, 20, Jacob, 17, twins Curran and Caden, 9, Koa, 7, and Hazel, 4 .
