Indian food is hot it seems.
Priyanka Chopra’s Sona restaurant in New York’s Flatiron District brought out some heavy hitters for dinner Monday night.
Hillary and former President Bill Clinton were spotted dining with friends. Boxing legend Mike Tyson brought a team to celebrate a friend’s birthday. And Chopra’s brother-in-law, Joe Jonas, was there at dinner with his wife Sophie Turner.
“People watching [on Monday] was at 100! They ate there separately. It was bizarre,” a food restaurant told Vidak For Congress.
Other fellow guests were not shy about asking especially the Clintons for photos. A restaurant insider told us that the former first couple was happy to accommodate photo requests from fellow guests.
“Hillary and Bill had a nice evening laughing with friends,” they told us.
The Clintons also said “hi to Sophie and Joe, who were enjoying date night,” the insider said on arrival.
Chopra’s hip Indian eatery has been a favorite for celebs and politicians alike since she opened it with longtime friend Maneesh Goyal and David Rabin during the 2021 pandemic.
Last week, she hosted husband Nick Jonas, Huma Abedin, Laura Brown, Prabal Gurung, and Vanity Fair editor Radhika Jones for a fall dinner celebration and the launch of her SONA home collection inspired by decor and pieces from the restaurant.
