Bethenny Frankel ‘proud’ of calling out Kim Kardashian’s skincare

Bethenny Frankel said she is “proud” of herself for criticizing Kim Kardashian’s skincare line, despite people warning her not to “mess around” with the reality TV icon.

“I’m proud of myself for speaking out when it’s not so easy to do that, when it can be scary and you’re alone,” she said in an Instagram video on Wednesday.

“When everyone around you tells you not to say anything; ‘You don’t want to mess with these people, don’t fuck up, you have too much to lose.’”

She continued: ‘You know what? I don’t want to be a follower. I want to be myself, who has an opinion, is honest and straightforward.”

The “Real Housewives of New York” star concluded her post with the words, “Cancel me if that’s not going to work, but I won’t be scared.”

Frankel captioned the post, “I’m not a follower,” and added several hashtags, including #kardashiancleanse, #kardashianintervention, and #dontbeafollower.

The reality star recently reviewed the A-lister’s expensive skincare line.

The post comes a few weeks after the Bravo star, 51, called Kardashian’s skincare line “impractical at best” and “slightly overpriced” in a TikTok video.

Frankel described the egg-shaped eye cream packaging as “spherical,” adding, “I don’t understand because it doesn’t stack.”

“I don’t have a round house or medicine cabinet. It doesn’t even have a flat bottom, so it’s kind of like an egg,” she continued.

The Skkn by Kim line includes nine products launched in July.

Frankel also compared the exfoliator packaging to a Rubik’s Cube, comparing the design to something sold by drugstore brand Wet ‘n Wild.

“You have to be a billionaire to use this product because if you don’t have a private plane, how do you travel with it?” she asked. “It’s just not practical.”

While many social media users applauded her for speaking her truth, not everyone was fully on board.

Me, as I watch Bethenny Frankel talk about how annoyed she is with the kardashians: madam as an eight-timer housewife and the founder of a lifestyle brand called skinnygirl, maybe you’re one of the few people on this earth who COMPLETELY aren’t. capable of throwing rocks at this particular house,” wrote one Twitter user.

A second person added: “Bethenny Frankel is coming after the kardashians in a way I like but people on tiktok are coming after her because she’s built an empire of nasty diet products with the word skinny in the NAME!!! where i agree too.very contradictory tiktok behavior tbh.”

Skkn by Kim launched nine products in July: a cleanser, toner, exfoliator, hyaluronic acid serum, vitamin C serum, face cream, eye cream, oil drops and night oil.
