Bachelor’s Tia Booth Pregnant, Expecting First Child After Engagement

Tia Booth is going to give birth!

The 30-year-old Bachelor in Paradise announced on Sunday that she is pregnant with the first child of her and her fiancé Taylor Mock.

“Happy upcoming Father’s Day forever,” the former reality star wrote in a touching tribute to the 30-year-old engineer.

In the since-deleted black and white photo, Mock kissed Booth’s forehead while rocking her baby bump.

The star-to-be called her pregnancy the “most challenging season,” while simultaneously mourning her father, who passed away in February.

“I’ve never felt such overwhelming sadness and pure joy at the same time,” explains the Arkansas resident. “It was hard to be thankful for the good as if one of the most important people in my life is missing the celebration.

The couple got engaged in April.

“While I wish I could tell my father all the good news in person, it gives me peace of mind that he has known about it for a long time,” she continued. “Welcoming a new little life while grieving the loss of another proves that high emotions can coexist, and I have no doubt my father had a hand in this.”

The “Bachelor” alum, who competed for the heart of Arie Luyendyk Jr. on season 22 of the ABC show, concluded by wishing her late parent a “Happy Heavenly Father’s Day.”

Although Booth later told her followers via Instagram Stories that the social media platform had removed her post, her fellow Bachelor Nation members were still able to express good wishes before the upload disappeared.

“Congratulations honey!!! So happy for you!! I know your dad is so proud of you😍❤️,” wrote Jasmine Goode, while Becca Tilley added: “AHHHH CONGRATULATIONS!!!! †

Booth’s pregnancy reveal came two months after the physical therapist got engaged to Mock at a “bachelor’s” event in Georgia.

Mock, who got down on one knee on stage, then wrote via Instagram that “an allergic reaction wouldn’t last” [him] to lock up his partner.

“I love you girl, can’t wait to do life with you,” Mock gushed after his proposal in April.

The bride-to-be, for her part, wrote at the time that she was “never again shocked or confident” in her life.

She and Mock started dating last year and officially became Instagram in October 2021.
