Sequins are a girl’s best friend.
Ana de Armas was featured on Tuesday at the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming Marilyn Monroe movie, “Blonde,” dressed in a Louis Vuitton silver sequined halter dress.
The neckline may have been a nod to Monroe, who wore an iconic white halter dress in 1955’s “The Seven Year Itch.”
De Armas, 34, previously channeled the late Hollywood icon in another deep Louis Vuitton look — a pink pleated dress — at the Venice Film Festival premiere last week.
Based on Joyce Carol Oates’ bestselling book of the same name, Netflix’s “Blonde” received a controversial NC-17 rating and arrives on the streaming service on September 28.
In the film, the Armas slips into spot-on recreations of some of Monroe’s most memorable outfits, along with a series of platinum wigs (which required her to wear a bald cap underneath).
And the stars seemed to align in more ways than one, as the “Knives Out” actress believes Monroe was present on set.
“I think she was happy. She also sometimes threw things off the wall and got mad when she didn’t like something,” De Armas told reporters at the Venice Film Festival. “Perhaps this sounds very mystical, but it is true. We all felt it.”
She added: “I do believe she was very close to us. She was with us.”
The film’s director, Andrew Dominik, agreed that he felt her presence, telling reporters, “It definitely took on elements of a seance.”
Maybe Marilyn’s ghost was on Tuesday’s carpet too.
