Alicia Silverstone is “still” sleeping with her 11-year-old son Bear.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen Fisher Podcast’ on Wednesday about her attachment style, the ‘Clueless’ star, 45, revealed, ‘Bear and I are still sleeping together.’
The actress, who shares the preteen with ex-husband Christopher Jarecki, joked that she would “get in trouble for” her comment.
“I don’t really care,” Silverstone said, laughing at potential critics.
The California native went on to describe the “elimination communication” tactics she used while raising Bear, explaining that she rarely used diapers when potty training the little one.
Instead, Silverstone “look”[ed] his signals” to know when to go to the toilet.
“It’s so wonderful. It’s so simple,” the Crush star explained. “When I finished feeding him, he went to the bathroom in the toilet. he to the bathroom.
“There was a period when I was watching him naked and looking at the signals,” she added. “The cues part was really fun for me because I thought he was flirting with me because he would put on such a small smile. Then he had to pee.”
Although Jarecki, 45, initially called Silverstone’s methods “hippie s–t,” she noted that he eventually “liked the process.”
The Golden Globe nominee has spoken out about her “alternative” parenting choices over the years, from raising Bear as a vegan to bathing with him.
Responding to the response she received on Wednesday, the “Miss Match” alum said, “I’m a natural mommy and I’m a loving mommy. I believe in love, I believe in nature, and our society is afraid of nature. and love.”
