“The Godfather” star Al Pacino strikes a deal with publishing giant Penguin Random House to write a book, sources only tell us.
Details of the method actor’s tome are yet to be announced, but a source told Vidak For Congress that Pacino’s book will be covered by the same team at Penguin that was behind Will Smith’s best-selling 2021 memoir, “Will,” which co-wrote with ” Will” was written. The subtle art of not giving an F–k” writer Mark Manson.

We hear that CAA represents Pacino in the deal. Representatives from Pacino, CAA and Penguin did not comment.
The undoubtedly highly anticipated Pacino book will be the 82-year-old Oscar winner’s first memoir.
The iconic actor previously published in 2006, “Al Pacino: In Conversation with Lawrence Grobel,” a series of conversations spanning more than 25 years between the star and journalist/celebrity biographer Grobel – who has also written books about his conversations with Hollywood icons Ava Gardner and Robert Evans.
Pacino grew up in East Harlem and the Bronx, attended the famed High School of Performing Arts, and trained at the Actors Studio before becoming a major star.
In addition to his upbringing and early career in New York, a book by the icon would certainly be full of Hollywood stories about starring in critically acclaimed classics, including “The Godfather” trilogy, “Dog Day Afternoon,” “Scarface,” ‘Heat’, ‘A Woman’s Scent’, ‘Carlito’s Way’, ‘Donnie Brasco’, ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’, ‘The Irishman’ and more.
Pacino has never been married, but has an adult daughter with former acting coach Jan Tarrant, and twins with National Lampoon’s Vacation star Beverly D’Angelo.
He is also romantically linked to Jill Clayburgh, Diane Keaton, Penelope Ann Miller and Argentine actress Lucila Solá, Camilla Morrone’s mother. He recently dated much younger girlfriend Noor Alfallah.
