Addison Rae’s mother, Sheri Easterling, shared a message with fans as her marriage drama with husband Monty Lopez continues to unfold in the public eye.
“Personal matters made public are always challenging and overwhelming for everyone involved,” the mother of three, 42, wrote in an Instagram story on Thursday. “I’ll be okay.”
Easterling – who shares daughter Rae, 21, and sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8, with Lopez, 46 – continued: “My main concern is and always will be my children and their fragile hearts and minds. I will always do my best to protect them.”
Easterling went on to say that her goal is to make her children “feel safe and secure,” while assuring them that “everything will be fine.”
The influencer – who rose to fame with her TikTok star daughter and now has 1 million followers – closed her statement by thanking fans for sending “love, support and kind messages” because it means “the world” to her.
Easterling’s statement came shortly before Vidak For Congress published an exclusive interview with Renée Ash, the 25-year-old woman with whom Lopez allegedly cheated on her for five months.
“Unfortunately, he misled me about his marriage, he lied to me,” Ash told us, claiming that Lopez had told her his marriage to Easterling was over when it wasn’t.
“He told me we would be together and have babies together,” she explained.
“He even introduced me to his mother, his youngest brother and I thought we had something real. He told me a story about his marriage that convinced me that they had broken up and were divorcing.”
Ash claimed she quit Lopez this week after several girls accused him of hitting them in person and even via FaceTime.
The nail in the coffin, she said, was recently leaked footage of Lopez allegedly stroking a woman’s back while partying.
The viral clip — which has since been deleted by TikTok user @marlig_ — features a young blonde claiming, “Addison Rae’s dad is trying to fuck me, I swear to God,” before a man who looks like Monty touches her ass.
“If anyone was hurt, it was me and his family. I’m very sorry about that,” said Ash, who claims she started dating Lopez in March after meeting him through a mutual friend.
“I loved him and I believed him. When I heard about the other young girls, my heart broke.”
Ash – who reportedly had a pregnancy anxiety with Lopez – also expressed regret over the pain she may have caused Easterling and her children.
“I’m sorry if anything I said hurt his family more than he already did. And I’m also sorry that he hurt me so deeply that I thought we were in love,” she said.
“Addison and Sheri don’t deserve this and neither do the other girls he doesn’t respect. I hope telling my story sheds light on a man who has gotten away with his power in the industry for too long.”
Lopez, Easterling and a representative of Rae did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment on the alleged affair with Ash.
Easterling has removed “wife” from her Instagram bio, although Lopez’s still includes “husband of @sherinicole.”
The couple originally married in 2004. They divorced years later, but remarried in 2017.
In particular, Rae has unfollowed her father on Instagram after the alleged scandals. On Wednesday she has thanked fans for their “love” via Twitter while her father’s alleged behavior has been questioned by numerous social media users.
