Addison Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, is said to have had a five-month affair with a 25-year-old woman named Renée Ash.
In an exclusive interview with Vidak For Congress, Ash claims that Lopez, 46, made her believe their alleged relationship was more meaningful.
“Unfortunately, he misled me about his marriage, he lied to me,” the young Los Angeles resident said, claiming Lopez told her his marriage to his wife Sheri Easterling was over when it wasn’t.
“He told me we would be together and have babies together,” she continues.
“He even introduced me to his mother, his youngest brother and I thought we had something real. He told me a story about his marriage that convinced me that they had broken up and were divorcing.”
Ash claimed she broke up with Lopez this week after several girls accused the middle-aged influencer — who has 5.4 million followers on TikTok — of hitting them in person and even via FaceTime.
She said the final straw, however, was when she saw leaked images online of Lopez allegedly stroking a girl’s backside on a night out. (Sources tell Vidak For Congress that the person was only 19 years old.)
In a viral clip – which has since been deleted by TikTok user @marlig_ – the young blonde claims, “Addison Rae’s dad is trying to fuck me, I swear to God,” before a man who looks like Monty touches her behind.
“If anyone was hurt, it was me and his family. I’m very sorry about that,” said Ash, who claims she started dating Lopez in March after meeting him through a mutual friend.
“I loved him and I believed him. When I heard about the other young girls, my heart broke.”
Furthermore, Ash tells us she is remorseful for all the pain Lopez’ immediate family members have endured, including Easterling, 42, their famous daughter, Rae, 21, and sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8.
“I’m sorry if something I said hurt his family even more than he already did,” Ash said. “And I’m also sorry that he hurt me so deeply that I thought we were in love.”
Screenshots of alleged text messages and WhatsApp exchanges obtained by Vidak For Congress illustrate Lopez’s alleged promises to Ash about their future. Lopez allegedly bragged that he and Ash were a “power couple,” according to various screenshots, and planned to move in with her, get married and start a family.
Lopez reportedly claimed that he and Easterling had a “weird relationship”, and Ash assured that what they shared was different. (In a 2020 interview with Seventeen, Rae revealed that her parents often separated during her childhood in Louisiana before remarrying in 2017.)
In one text, Lopez reportedly claimed that he “left” Easterling for “bitching” and “f-king with” him. In a follow-up message, Lopez warned Ash not to engage in similar behavior as it could lead to the demise of their relationship.
Lopez also allegedly accused Ash of drinking excessively and flirting with acquaintances of the opposite sex. She called him out for “gaslighting” at the time. But now, according to an insider, she feels like he was just “projecting” concerns about his own alleged behavior.
“Any time she spoke to a man, Renée would never hear the end of it,” the source said. “Monty would threaten to break up with her over things he appeared to be doing himself.”
The couple came close to calling it quits after an alleged pregnancy anxiety in mid-June. The insider tells us that after two positive urine tests, Ash felt she “got no support from” Lopez, who reportedly texted in response, “Your [sic] not pregnant.”
“You treated my pregnancy anxiety very badly,” she is said to have texted him afterwards. “I can’t bear to have… two positive tests and… [you] Blowing me off completely…Especially after you kept saying I’ll never back down [and] I want to marry you.”
According to screenshots, Lopez did not directly address Ash’s concerns about his alleged reaction.
“Renee was relieved when her blood tests came back negative,” the source said. “She tried to break up with Monty after that, but he started texting her again like crazy and they got back together.”
According to text messages and WhatsApp messages, Lopez and Ash shared a common dream of having children together – before and after the alleged pregnancy anxiety.
“We will have wonderful children together,” Lopez is said to have written to Ash on May 28 via WhatsApp.
“Do you want more/when do you tell your current one,” she replied.
In response, Lopez is said to have said that more children “wouldn’t be fun” and ignored Ash’s question about sharing their plans with his family. “Take it easy. We’ll discuss it in Ibiza.”
The duo never traveled to Ibiza together, but went on holiday in the south of France around the same time of the alleged child talk, according to the screenshots. On May 30, Lopez is said to have told Ash during their French outing that he had already picked names for their future offspring.
“Always family first, but after marriage we are family,” he is said to have written via WhatsApp. Boys have my name, girls have yours. Are you okay with that?”
Ash – who never responded to the name suggestions – was later told she was Lopez’s “queen” to his “king”.
“We are the chosen ones,” he is said to have written. “I love you…I will always be forever indebted to you.”
Still, Lopez stopped publicizing their romance, which seemed to bother Ash. Text messages show she grew tired of keeping it a secret — even if, notes one source, “most of Los Angeles already knew about them.”
“Wish I could post this 🖕,” Ash would text in early June, accompanied by a photo of herself kissing Lopez on a bench.
“Lol, I wish you could,” he reportedly wrote back. “That’s why I wish we could go to the stock market.”
But in other exchanges, Lopez reportedly explained why they couldn’t.
“Can we go public so this isn’t so f-ked,” Ash pleaded, per screenshot.
“Baby hold on,” Lopez is said to have responded. “The tights [sic] spinning as we speak.”
It was then suggested that a reality TV deal with Ash was in the works. Lopez previously appeared on his daughter’s unscripted Snapchat series, “Addison Rae Goes Home.”
“The producer of our snap has been texting me all morning from out of nowhere [sic]† i think she [sic] is about to make me an offer,” he is said to have written. “Then we can get paid to run around.”
No money would have been worth signing a contract with Lopez, Ash tells Vidak For Congress. She is lucky to have fled the alleged relationship and hopes her story can help other women avoid her ex.
“This has been going on in LA for too long and I just want to be the girl brave enough to tell the truth,” she says.
“Addison and Sheri don’t deserve this and neither do the other girls he doesn’t respect. I hope telling my story sheds light on a man who has gotten away with his power in the industry for too long.”
Notably, in recent weeks, Rae has unfollowed her dad on Instagram and Easterling removed “wife” from her Instagram bio. Meanwhile, Lopez’s bio still features “Husband to @sherinicole.”
Representatives for Lopez, Rae and Easterling did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment.
