Meghan Trainor is ready for baby number 2 with her husband, Daryl Sabara, who recently shared that her schedule is the only thing stopping them from trying right now.
“If I could have gotten pregnant months ago, I would have,” the 28-year-old singer said We Weekly Thursday. “We’re just busy and I don’t want to be nauseous doing all these fun things.”
She added that she will soon have to “travel around the world very soon”, but hopes to conceive before the end of the year.
“But November, December, I’m going to try to get confused,” she revealed, saying there was a new baby on her “calendar.”
“I would love a daughter,” Trainor added. “I’m going to eat acidic foods because I’ve heard that helps to have a daughter.”
Trainor welcomed son Riley on Valentine’s Day 2021, calling the experience “terrifying” due to the newborn’s breathing problems.
“It was one of those horror stories where he didn’t cry,” Trainor said in June. “He didn’t make any noise when he came out. I was like, ‘Why isn’t he crying?’ It was scary.”
Riley was taken to the neonatal intensive care unit to have a feeding tube inserted.
“I got to see him for a second before they took him,” Trainor recalled at the time. “That was probably the worst part.”
Fortunately, the parents were able to take Riley home after five days.
“We had a rough start…but Riley is perfect, happy and healthy – so lucky to be your mama sweet boy,” Trainor shared via Instagram.
