Gabbie Hanna’s sister hit back at fans expressing concerns for the TikTok star’s well-being.
Cecilia Hanna responded in the comment section of Gabbie’s most recent video, telling viewers that her family situation is “nothing” of their “business”.
“This video was filmed and posted all day before anything happened, or at least before we knew it. We are all in PA and she is in LA,” Cecilia wrote, according to a screenshot of the fan.
“We’re doing what we can do from here. at the end of the day, you are all strangers on the internet and it is none of your business, regardless of your level of concern.”
Gabbie, 31, was concerned on Wednesday when she posted 100 TikTok videos in one day. While the amount of videos alarmed fans, some of the images also caused concern as she had a red message scribbled on her mirror in what looked like lipstick.
Many of the clips also turned out to be about religion.
“Clearly we are aware and doing what we can,” concluded Cecilia. “She’s grown up. I’m a 20-year-old on the other side of the country.”
Gabbie previously revealed she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which can cause extreme mood swings with emotional highs and lows, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Finally, Gabbie confirmed that the police had arrived and left her a “wellness card” before she left.
Gabbie started sharing videos online in 2013 and over the past nine years amassed a huge fan base with millions of followers across platforms.
She released her debut single ‘Out Loud’ in 2017, the same year she published her first collection of poetry ‘Adultolescence’.
She released her second book, “Dandelion,” in 2020. Both became New York Times bestsellers.
