Bachelor Nation favorite Wells Adams gave Sarah Hyland his last rose on Saturday and married the “Modern Family” actress in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California.
Hyland, 31, stunned in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress by Vera Wang, choosing a second creation by the famed bridal designer for the reception.
For the ceremony, the actress wore a light ivory silk ball gown with a sweetheart neckline, hand-pleated bodice, French tulle sleeves and high slit.
According to a press release from Vera Wang, her cathedral-length Italian tulle veil had a hand-applied macramé lace trim.
Hyland wore her dark hair pulled back with soft curls framing her face and adorned with white pumps with crystal trims, a diamond bracelet and diamond earrings.
When it was time to party, Hyland morphed into a slimmer, soft white Italian crepe dress with a draped neckline, hand-laid macramé lace and draped Italian tulle sleeves.
Wang, who has also designed wedding dresses for celebrities like Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani, told Vidak For Congress Style earlier this year that she strives to “give women opportunities to take a different path” with their bridal looks — “for their own creativity, their own body types, their own way of celebrating, their own way of dressing.”
The “Bachelor in Paradise” bartender proposed to Hyland in July 2019 after almost two years of dating, but their planned August 2020 wedding was rescheduled twice due to the pandemic.
“We were supposed to get married last year, of course, that didn’t happen,” Adams, 38, told People in 2021. “We were supposed to get married this year, that didn’t happen.”
Joking that they would “go to Vegas, or the courthouse” if their marriage failed in 2022, the “Bachelorette” alumni said, “2022 should be our year, right?!”
Luckily, this year was the lucky one, and plenty of the couple’s famous friends joined in to celebrate.
Influencer and actress Ciara Robinson served as bridesmaid, and bridesmaids included Vanessa Hudgens and musician GG Magree.
In addition to members of Adams’ “Bachelor” family, Hyland’s “Modern Family” co-stars also attended, including Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Nolan Gould and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who hosted the wedding for his TV niece.
While the bride and groom haven’t posted anything about the big day yet, Vergara showed fans several behind-the-scenes snapshots on her Instagram, including a look at her festive black and white midi skirt ($360) and Dubai-based crop top. designer Bambah.
Cheers to the happy couple!
