Who needs a dazzling birthday dress when you have a crystal-encrusted bra?
To celebrate her 27th birthday over the weekend, Dua Lipa donned a head-to-toe Marc Jacobs outfit that included a white carpenter’s jacket and skirt, a chain-handle bag, sky-high platform heels that practically “levitated” her — and the piece de résistance , a small bling-out bra made up of tiny, disco-worthy glittering discs.
“I gasped when I saw the birthday girl wearing this iconic look 🤍🤍🤍🤍 WOW,” designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin commented on Lipa’s Instagram post showing off the sexy outfit.
“Wow, she serves,” singer Liza Owen added, as one fan chimed in, “ok, but this fit is everything.”
Jacobs shared some of the photos on his own Instagram, calling the look Lipa’s “birthday suit” and adding a slew of hashtags like #gorgeous, #simplystunning — and of course #crystalbikini.
The “Future Nostalgia” hitmaker spent the weekend before her August 22 birthday surrounded by friends, including British influencer Sarah Lysander, mental health advocate Rosie Viva, and her yoga instructor Anabella Landa, better known as Annie Moves.
Lipa is known for her personal statement style, which often incorporates Y2K trends such as peekaboo thongs, furry boots, crochet bikinis and bedazzled pasties.
The Versace ambassador, who made her runway debut for the fashion house last year, has also made headlines in a number of the brand’s archival pieces, including Cindy Crawford’s 1990s bondage dress and a butterfly-embellished chainmail that’s nearly identical to one worn by Christina Aguilera at the 2000 Grammys.
