How’s this for “messy boots”?
Married to Medicine star Quad Webb reveals that Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe’s have pulled the plug on their friendship — and it’s all because of the failed “intervention” that happened recently on the Bravo reality show.
“Those two will never agree,” said Webb, 42, in an exclusive interview with Vidak For Congress. “I don’t think the trust is there anymore. I don’t think they even want to build or repair a friendship.”
As seen in Sunday night’s episode, Metcalfe, 46, lured Kimes, 51, to her house for what the latter thought was a girls night out to watch movies with the rest of the cast.
But as Kimes walked downstairs to Metcalfe’s basement theater, she saw herself spewing vicious verbal attacks on her co-stars in a series of her own YouTube videos.
“Heavenly… has said a lot of nasty things about all of us and is that something a friend should do or someone who says he’s a friend? No, absolutely not,” Webb acknowledges.
She notes, however, that giving Kimes a warning on the subject—rather than a deceitful ambush—could have prevented the explosive fight with Metcalfe and more women that erupted later in the evening.
“When we talk about an intervention, we try to get to the heart of a reason,” de Bravolebrity said. “I don’t feel like Contessa is getting her enemies to say this was an ‘intervention’, the right thing to do.”
In particular, Webb advocated for Kimes, letting Metcalfe know she disagreed with her approach to handling the situation. But after defending her dentist friend, she soon discovered that she had also been on the receiving end of several merciless jabs.
In addition to criticizing Metcalfe’s marriage, mentioning Dr. Simone Whitmore a “flip-flopper” and branding Toya Bush-Harris a “bitch who’s lazy,” accused Kimes Webb of stuffing her face with fillers and, worse, “[sleeping] with married men.”
Webb was unaware of Kimes’ comments prior to the meeting.
“I have no filler and for those girls who have them, ‘Hey, girls who have them!’ But I’m just not,” she says, addressing the claims about cosmetic work. “I don’t have fillers. I don’t have Botox. I’ve only had one surgery and that was to have my fibroids removed.”
Understandably, however, Webb was more upset by Kimes saying she chases other people’s husbands.
“I was very disappointed to hear that from her, because she knows better than that,” said the TV personality, who divorced husband Dr. Gregory Lunceford.
Webb, who is just starting to dip her toes back into the dating pool, explains: “I don’t even dance in front of the other women’s men because I know that… I’m very pretty and very beautiful and I know I can do it.” … desirable to many. But I am respectful.”
Kimes seemingly apologizes for the hurtful comment about the next “M2M” episode, but Webb suggests more conversations will be needed to get past the issue.
“I thought that was a bunch of bulls — t when she said that and I still don’t like it and I deal with that,” she says. “So Heavenly definitely needs to hear that from me.”
Despite the conflict that persists between the crew in the first few episodes of Season 9, Webb promises good times lie ahead.
“I’ll tell you we all had the best time on the Las Vegas cast trip. Every cast trip we’ve ever taken on this show in nine seasons, this one takes the cake,” she teases.
“We just had so much fun and I was actually able to grow closer to all the girls. It was a wild time! The fans will be glued to the TV, their iPads, their phone screens, whatever device they have when it finally airs.”
