New Private Club Opens 100 Floors on Billionaire’s Row

Talk about 100 holdings.

Another private club has opened in New York City — and it’s located on the 100th floor of a luxury high-rise.

Located along so-called Billionaire’s Row, Central Park Tower — where a penthouse unit is up for sale for a record $250 million — opened its doors to the 100th floor on Thursday with a source who told us they are Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, Dennis Basso and Naeem Khan thrown at a bash by Gary Barnett of Extell.

Celebrity event planner Colin Cowie – who has done events for Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey and Kim Kardashian – works as the ‘lifestyle specialist’ and event planner for the chic new space, which serves food from top chefs Alfred Portale, Laurent Tourondel and Gabriel Kreuther .

“Every three months our menu changes, our recipes come straight from these extraordinary chefs,” Cowie explained, welcoming guests who sampled dishes such as “tuna and caviar nestled in a pastry egg”, duck with foie gras and cod. .

A full orchestra and harpist entertained and a performer sang “Hamilton” tunes.

The space, called the Central Park Club, has a restaurant, ballroom, wine cellar, and cigar room. There is also an indoor and outdoor pool.

Residents of the building are automatically members – and we’re told a select group of titans in business, media, finance, fashion and Hollywood have been invited to join by Jane Sarkin and Matt Ullian of Boldface Partners, who compile the list.

The space will begin accepting dinner reservations on October 3 and will open on October 18.

It’s just the latest in a string of newly opened private clubs in the city – including celebrity favorite The Ned, the ultra-exclusive Aman, Mayor Eric Adam’s hangout, Zero Bond, the chic Chapel Bar and the chic Casa Cipriani.
